Not cleaning the filters Cleaning the filters of a dishwasher is a task almost everyone dreads. After all, who would want to touch the wet food residue? But however nasty it may seem, cleaning the dishwasher’s filter after every wash cycle is essential. If one does not do so, the food residue will keep moving between the dishes in every following wash cycle – which is even worse.
